Dr. Andrew Place

 

Dr. Andrew Place is a highly esteemed physician and researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he serves as Co-Director of the Hematologic Malignancies Center and Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the Department of Pediatric Oncology. He is also the Chief Medical Officer at the Institutional Centers for Clinical and Translational Research (ICCTR) at Boston Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

 

Dr. Place's extensive training includes a medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School, a residency in Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital, and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Boston Children's Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Board-certified in Pediatrics, he is deeply committed to both groundbreaking research and compassionate patient care, focusing on early-phase clinical trials and the treatment of childhood hematologic malignancies.
